The “1st International Health Tourism Congress and Exhibition” will be held in Maritim Pine Resort in BELEK-ANTALYA on 14-17 March 2008 and be opened by H.E. Prof. Dr. Recep AKDAĞ, Minister of Health of the Republic of Turkey and H.E. Ertuğrul GÜNAY, Minister of Culture and Tourism who would deliver the opening speeches of the Congress. The representatives of the health institutions, spa facilities, government as well as investors and international participants are invited to the Congress. The Congress will be organized in collaboration and under the support of the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey.

The 1st International Health Tourism Congress and Exhibition will be very different from any other previous events organized related to health tourism. Medical tourism related health institutions, spas, hotels, representatives of tourism sector, thermal and thalossotherapy facilities, facilities for the elderly shall all be convened in this Congress.

The experts of the field will discuss comprehensively many aspects of health tourism and specific issues will be analyzed in a number of panels during the Congress. Moreover, investors and representatives will open stands and advertise their products/services.

Parallel to the congress, “HEALTH TOURISM JOURNALS” in Turkish and English would be published regularly starting from January 2008, aimed at improving and advertising the Health Tourism sector, and keeping the sector updated and dynamic.
Furthermore, a “HEALTH TOURISM GUIDE BOOK” will be published yearly in both Turkish and English which will enable users find all the actors of the health tourism sector in one single publication.

In the aforementioned guide, advertisers would have special page sizes, non advertisers would be listed with their contact addresses free of charge in a separate section.

Our Guide and Journal will be circulated nationally and internationally to interested parties, embassies, tourism agencies, and during International Health Exhibitions and Congresses by our Association free of charge.
