To get your Masters in education, you need to be prepared to go to school for a long time. First of all one must finish high school and go to college. After one has a Bachelors degree then one can apply to graduate school to pursue your Masters. Many people also choose to double major, and pair an education degree with another academic degree. This too takes time. Even when one is in graduate school one may choose to get two Masters degrees as well. There are many different ways to get your Masters in education.
For one to get a Masters in education, one must first earn a bachelors degree. To do this one must first graduate from high school and then go to college. There are many different forms of higher education. Some people choose to go to an Ivy League School for their undergraduate degree. This however is not necessary. Many people go to state or community colleges and get the same degree. Some people even go online to get a degree. All that matters is that you have a Bachelors degree. It can be in anything. One does not even need to major in education to go onto pursue a Masters in education.
Another way people go about getting their Masters in education is to double major. Double majoring can take more time than just majoring with one degree. If one wants to be a teacher of a specific subject, then it is almost guaranteed that he or she will be in school longer than a person just majoring with one degree. For example, a student who wants to be a science teacher may get a degree in earth sciences as well as an education degree. For a person who wants to be a language teacher, this can take even more time. Languages take lots of time properly learn and master. A student properly learning a foreign language will even take at least a semester abroad in order to immerse him or herself in the chosen language. All of this is hard to get done in four years along with getting ready to pursue a Masters in education.
When one finally goes about taking their graduate classes for their Masters in education, they may choose to pursue a second Masters as well. This is especially true for those that want to go on to teach in college. If one is going onto a Doctorate, then they will want to be as knowledgeable in their chosen field as possible. If one wants to be a science professor, then they will want a specific degree in the type of science that they are pursuing. It takes a lot of time to just get a Masters degree in any science let alone paring that with education classes. Both require a lot of lab work.

How difficult is it to obtain a masters degree in elementary education while working as an elementary teacher?I'm considering attending the University of South Florida for a masters in education, but I'm trying to decide if I should look for a job first or just get my masters out of the way before looking for a job.
Hm…that you did, that you did.
Absolutely. Depending on where you live and what grade you teach there will probably be several undergrad classes and state tests you'll have to take. It doesn't only require and masters degree; you'll also need a teaching credential
I watch this series since the beginning, and I’m still a fan! South Park is really a series that I love because they talk about hot topic with great derision
